Please plan to attend the first ever Women of Worship (WOW) on Saturday, September 27 from 8:00am - 10:00am at the church. You can learn more about this event in the information below.
Quarterly, we will gather as women to fellowship, walk along side each other, and continue to learn and see how beautiful we are to the LORD. On set Saturday mornings from 8-10 am (so the rest of the day is free for family and sports), we’ll meet to enjoy a small brunch, sing praises, corporately pray for our families and trials, and take part in a devotional through which we will contrast the world’s view of our worth and beauty to how our LORD sees our beauty and worth. It is obvious the world has embarked on a full on attack on girls and women through a distorted perspective of what beauty is. Each of us carries some kind of hurt or scar in regards to this devastating ongoing delude. This type of building up is for all ladies 13 years of age and up so please plan to come and bring your teenage daughters. There is no pre-work to be done in advance, but there will be opportunity to dig deeper should you be interested in it.

We say we are strong and sure, that we don’t long to be held and protected, or we convince ourselves that this question isn’t ours to ask, that beautiful can never be said of us. In this study, we will be helped to recover this secret longing of our hearts and embrace the One who finds us unspeakably desirable. We will finally see ourselves as the woman God created and loves.”
